Our Adopters Say

A Heartfelt Thank You to Barbara Reagan for Her Incredible Dedication

Dear Norcalfreedomforpaws,

I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for a remarkable individual whose unwavering dedication to animals in need has profoundly touched my heart and changed my life -that person is Barbara Reagan.

Many of you may already be familiar with Barbara—whether through meeting her in person, adopting one of her animals, or simply hearing about her incredible work for animals needing love and care. I was fortunate to connect with her through a mutual acquaintance who had recently adopted a beautiful poodle puppy. As fate would have it, I was also looking to expand our family, and Barbara happened to have the perfect match: a dog who, by pure coincidence, needed a home. But it quickly became clear that we needed him just as much. The animals Barbara cares for are nothing short of exceptional.

Barbara's role in all of this is immeasurable. She rescues these animals and lovingly nurtures them, helping them heal from their difficult pasts. Thanks to Barbara, animals find their way into homes filled with love, compassion, and care.  We must do our part to support individuals and organizations like Barbara and Norcalfreedomforpaws in any capacity because her work profoundly impacts the suffering animals and the families who welcome them into their lives.

The cultural shift in how we view our pets as cherished family members speaks volumes about our growing capacity for love. I am deeply grateful to Barbara for allowing me to adopt our new family member, Bear. I encourage fellow adopters to consider giving back in whatever way they can to support the organization's efforts. I hope you find your perfect match, too.

Warm regards,

Trish Planck & Bear (Huggy Bear)
